Welcome:
- The Leavenworth Bass Club held their meeting on September 8th at Larry Stoafer’s toy barn. Thank you, Larry very much for offering the location to our club members. There were 20 members present. The President called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm.

Treasurer Report:
- LBC checking account beginning balance was $8,815.90 and the ending balance is $9,485.55. The treasurer’s report was approved by the members present.
- The club discussed and then voted to allocate $200 per boat, plus the $500 from Shoreline, to the Classic payout.
Conservation Committee Report: Eric reported he is waiting for a box of recycled plastics from Whopper Baits.
Youth Director Report:
- Mike Brooks, Steve Read and Bill went to the NWMSU Fishing Club 1st meeting on September 1st in Maryville. There were about 20 students there. We discussed the potential support available from our members and some of the upcoming events thy might be interested in. Their club leaders plan on doing as much fishing as they can while the weather cooperates.
- Bill mentioned that the Rod & Gun Club is having their fall kids’ fishing derby on September 26th and volunteers are needed for shore patrol and registration.
Banquet Committee: Mike discussed the banquet planned (as of now) for January 23rd at the Leavenworth Eagles Club. There is a potential for problems getting quality door prizes due to the continuing shortages al most of the major retail outlets. More to follow.
Webmaster Report: No report.
Vice President Report: No report.
President Report:
- Thanks to Larry for hosting us this evening.
- Fort Leavenworth is at Phase II Alpha of their reopening, which allows Commanders and Directors to return up to 50% of their workforce to duty. Mission Essential organizations, such as Army University can return to or near FOC in order to begin the academic year. The soft target, NET date to transition to Phase II B is 22 Sep 2020. I will keep you posted via e-mail of changes that may allow us to meet at the Rod & Gun Club.
- 2021 elections will be held on October 5th. Meeting location is to be determined. While the 2020 slate of officers have agreed to remain in position, nothing is solidified until elections are complete. Therefore, if you want change, throw your hat in the ring and let the membership vote. This is your opportunity to step up, serve and make a difference.
- The MOBASS meeting is this weekend at Pomme de Terre. LBC has already met the required attendance threshold at MOBASS meetings for the year and therefore I will forego attendance at MOBASS and will attend the Classic this weekend.
- In accordance with the bylaws, the 2021 Awards were voted on and the majority vote was to keep the same hoodie option as we had for 2020.
