We will meet at the Hillsdale State Park office and assemble about 40 cubes and drop them in the Lake. The address is 26001 W 255th St, Paola, KS 66071 which will get you really close according to Google maps. He mentioned that if we can provide 3-4 boats and bring a power drill with a 5/16 nut driver that would be great. This is another great opportunity for our Club to be noticed. Please let Eric know by 20 September if you can make it.
- Eric discuss the possible grant from 40 creek whiskey and what they are doing for conservation. 40 Creek whiskey is a new BASS conservation partner and has selected three states Missouri, Texas, and Georgia to receive individual grants in the amount of $10,000, The money will be divided into four individual grants or the amount of $2500.

- Conservation: Pitch it program Grizzly tobacco is assisting with funding materials for soft plastic and mono collection tubes. Info packet and plans for building were picked up at the meeting. I will pass it off to Eric
- MOBASS conservation has a Facebook Page. They request any members with a FB page go and “like” the page
- Picked up Fizzing “how to” cards and will distribute at the Oct LBC meeting
- AFTCO (American Fishing Tackle Company) gives 10% of every purchase to conservation.
- 40 Creek Whiskey Grants – LBC is one of only two MOBASS clubs to show interest in this project. A vote was taken to split the money into 3 grants, however currently on 2 clubs are working a proposal. The timeline is tight to write and submit the grant request to MOBASS. Packets must be turned in to MOBASS (Robert Troumbley) NLT 2 weeks prior to the State Tournament. LBC has just under 4 weeks to get this done. Eric, need you to select a member or two to assist in the write up and get it turned in NLT 12 Oct. If approved, 40 Creek Whiskey will send their media crew to record the event for part of their upcoming advertising campaign. 40 Creek Reps will be at the State tournament to provide whiskey samples. MOBASS asks that members go to FB and “like” 40 Creek Whiskey.
- MOBASS reports PETA will most likely protest the State Tournament. They recommend MOBASS members do not engage protestors as they are most likely soliciting a negative reaction for publicity / legal reasons.
