Treasurer’s Report:   The Club checking account had a starting balance of $3,901.11 on May 5th and an ending balance of $4367.87 as of June 2nd. The Fishing for Freedom checking account had a starting balance of $17,868.54 and an ending balance of $18,868.54. The Treasurer’s report was approved as presented.

Conservation Committee Report: No report

Youth Committee Report: Thanks to all the club members that made the 1st annual “First City Fishing Gala” a rousing success. There were about 30 kids between the ages of 6-12 that fished, and at least twice that number of other family members there too. Each kid that fished got a goody bag with lures, a hat, assorted fish related coupons from Cabela’s. Cabela’s also donated rods/reels and gift cards for awards to the ones who caught the most fish and the biggest fish by age group. We provided shore patrol volunteers and cooks for the kids’ lunches. Who would have guessed the kids actually enjoyed the crappie that Bob and Dennis fried up for them. The director of Parks and Recreation was there and was very complimentary of the club. Hopefully this will turn out to be an annual event that we can continue to support for years to come. Thanks to Bob and Charley Jorgensen, Dennis, Katie & Hayes Edwards, Stephen Smith, Dan Senterfitt, Mike Brooks, Steve Read, Mark Justice, Brent Goss.

Banquet Committee Report: No report.

Webmaster Report: No report

Vice President’s Report: Steve still has tickets for the MOBASS raffle. We need to sell them all before the July MOBASS meeting. See Steve at Grand or the next meeting.

If you have any suggestions for after meeting programs, please pass them along to Steve.
