  • Congratulations to Larry Stoafer, Ray Hillebrand and Ray Cates for making the Kansas Federation state team.
  • Bill Horvath attended the MOBASS quarterly meeting on June 9th in Warsaw. Main discussion points were:
    • There is still scholarship monies available for family members’ college level students thru MOBASS.
    • There was a discussion about whether or not non-penetrating cull tags are currently required for Bass Nation level tournaments. Jim Zieger is researching the issue and will let the clubs know the correct answer.
    • MOBASS is raffling off an AR-15 rifle or $1,000, winner’s choice. Bill Horvath has the $10 tickets and will have them at the Mozingo tournament and the August meeting.
  • The annual Cystic Fibrosis charity tournament will be held on August 4th at Mozingo, followed by a Nebraska TBF open tournament the next day. LBC members have placed in the money for both, the last 3 years. Both tournaments are well run and have a good pot of money. Come out to support Rodney Bledsoe’s granddaughter who has CF.
