Conservation Committee Report:  Big thank you to Eric for coordinating the effort to put the fish structure in Banner Creek on March 10th, Club members, along with those from the Rod & Gun Club also sunk left over Christmas trees in Merritt & Smith Lakes on post the following day. Expect to see a story in the BASS Times in the near future.

Youth Director Report: Waiting to hear the results from the Bearcat Open at Mozingo on  April 14th.

Banquet Committee: Mike Brooks said we had a banquet and we will have another one next year.

Webmaster Report: Brent has updated the web site. There are some changes needed so we have the correct sponsors

Vice President Report:

  • Randy reported that Dennis would give an overview on Stockton for this month’s presentation.
  • Randy suggested we have a swap meet at the next meeting on April 30th. Please bring you used and even new tackle that has never seem sunlight and clean out your stash for cash.

President Report:

  • Bob complimented the folks who volunteered to help with Eric’s conservation project.
  • Bob talked about the $25 dollar gift cards that Smithville will be donating for each tournament this year. It’s extremely important that the winners actually use the gift cards, or, pass it along to someone who will redeem it. Smithville monitors the return of them and if we don’t cash them in, we may not get any next year.
