Banquet Critique

Post by reader67 » Sun Jan 26, 2014 12:38 pm

Good Morning Members! In an attempt to always upgrade the banquet I would ask while fresh on your mind to critique our event. This is a place to jump in for you new members, , as well as those not so new. Next years Banquet Chairman will appreciate your imput!! The length of the banguet was reduced by 24 minutes. Who knew?? This was intentional. You may comment on any segment from food ,to raffle , program, or you just didn't like the location. For those whom feel uncomfortable with airing this topic on our new forum, rest assured you may contact me by e-mail or phone as well.
vetsdad@msn.com. or 816-646-9756.

Thanks in advance , Steve Read Banquet Chairman 2013.

I thought it was a disaster. My thoughts are that the more you do it the better you will get. You need to keep doing it until you do it right...

Got this nice note from Scott Ollendick, manager at the Olathe Bass Pro. Always great to hear that a sponsor is impressed with all the things our members do.

"THANK YOU for allowing us to join your club last night.
Diego and I had a great time.
I really enjoyed hearing about some of the many cool things you are doing to share your passion for fishing."

I thought the length of the meeting was just right. I was just starting to tire or the raffle and it was over. I missed introduction of next years officers. I thought everything was done very well and an enjoyable evening.

The following email was received from the folks at Shoreline RV and fiberglas repair.

Steve,

Thank you for the invitation. There were several guys that I haven’t seen forever! It was nice catching up.

Mike mentioned linking our website to yours. I think that’s a great idea. Let me know if you need any help

on our end.

Forward me your schedule when you get a minute. I’ll put all of the dates on a spreadsheet. I’ll mail you the

QT gas cards sometime next month. I told Mike that we would do something for you end of the year championship

too.

Let me know if you need anything else.
